2023 Photo Sessions are now available for booking!

Our lavender typically blooms late June - July. Keep in mind lavender is a flower and completely at the whim of Mother Nature. We will update this page with bloom info as we can however we strongly suggest you visit the farm before your shoot to check field conditions. 

The first available date is June 13 and the last is July 30.

2023 PHOTO SESSION INFO & RATES

During Farm Open Hours (10am - 4pm)

• $30 for 1st hour
• $15 each additional hour

After Hours: Monday - Thursday (4pm - 7pm)

• $75 for 1st hour
• $25 each additional hour

If you want to buy more than one hour, please adjust the quantity and select the time you will arrive.

After hours sessions are limited to 2 photographers per time slot.

We do not provide a photographer.

When arriving for After Hours Sessions please enter through our exit on Wolf Hollow. 

Please be advised that during Open Hours, we cannot guarantee any dedicated space. Expect to have people around you.

Our antique Ford truck is not available for photo sessions.

Do I Need a Photo Pass?
You need a Photo Pass if you are visiting the farm for the purpose of taking formal, posed photos. If you are visiting the farm and farm shoppe and want to memorialize your visit with photos, no pass is required. There is a difference and we'd ask that if you are only visiting to use our fields as a photo backdrop than please purchase a pass to help support the upkeep of our farm.

Formal, Posed Photography

Posed photography includes wedding, family, engagement, prom, graduation, senior photos or the like. The photographer doesn’t need to be a professional. 

Advance, paid reservations are required and can be booked here. In all cases, the photography session must be scheduled in advance and begin and end within the allotted time. There are no refunds for "no-shows" of a photography session at Lavender Pond Farm. However, sessions may be rescheduled by contacting us in advance or in the event of inclement weather.

Commercial Photography/Filming
Catalog shoots, shoots requiring props, additional lighting or multiple costumes, commercials, professional videos and the like are subject to certain terms, restrictions and fees based upon the nature of the production request. Please Contact Us for more information.

Plein Air Artists
There is no charge for canvas artists or plein air artists to use the fields, however we do request that you follow the same General Photography Guidelines as our visiting photographers.

Aerial Photography
Drone use is strictly prohibited.

Stock Photography
Photos taken as stock photography for websites, publications, greeting cards, calendars, etc. Photographers are asked to pay a one-time, lifetime fee of $50. Arrangements must be made in advance. Please Contact Us for more information.

Promotional Photography
Photos used to promote Lavender Pond Farm, such as travel and lifestyle websites, blogs and publications will not be subject to a fee. Arrangements must be made in advance. Please Contact Us for more information.

General Photography Guidelines
We ask that you honor these policies when using Lavender Pond Farm as the backdrop for any photography, artwork or filming.

• Guests should come dressed and prepared for their photo session. There are no changing areas available and the public restroom is not to be used to change clothes. You may inquire about a room rental if a changing area is needed.
• Be respectful of our plants and gardens. You may not clip, move or modify our lavender. Do not place equipment (or people) on top of plants.
• Electrical power is not available unless arranged in advance for an additional fee.
• Keep pathways free. When shooting during our open hours please allow safe and easy passage for our visitors.
• Sessions MUST be booked in advance. If you show up without a reservation you will regretfully be turned away.

 The Fine Print
Lavender Pond Farm reserves the right to refuse admittance for photography and/or change its photo policy without advanced notice. Some areas of the farm may not be available the day of your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that any party that has booked private events in a particular location has an exclusive right to that reserved area.

Reward points are not issued on photo session bookings.
