2020 FARM OPENING INFORMATION - COVID19

Next

Dear Lavender Friends,

We wanted to take a moment to update you on our plans for the 2020 season. Without overstating the obvious, this is a trying time for all of us. We’ve had a number of inquiries recently as to our 2020 plans and while much is still unknown, here is what you can expect from us over the next month or so.

Will the farm be open as usual for Mother’s Day?

No. We have made the difficult decision to not open Mother’s Day Weekend. We thought very long and hard about this, however, we are erring on the side of caution and will not be conducting any in-person business in May. As always, our online store will remain open sending lavender goodness nationwide.

Can I still buy Mother’s Day gifts?

Definitely! While we cannot ship plants, we are just about ready to launch our online Mother’s Day Sale. Our lavender ladies have been working very hard to curate new gift ideas for all the moms in your life. Make sure you’re on our mailing list or follow us on Facebook or Instagram to be notified of our sale. It’s coming soon.

When will you open?

We are tentatively planning a June 1 opening. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest information.

Can I book a train tour or photo session?

Not at this time. Due to the tentative nature of everything we’d rather hold off on booking than take reservations and cancel them. Thank you for your patience.

Can we just walk the farm even though you are closed?

No. Please don’t. We are closed.

How can I support the farm?

Thank you for asking! While we are not open to the public, our dedicated team is working hard every day farming and producing our lavender goodness. You can support our mission by shopping online for Mother’s Day and anytime the mood strikes you.

In conclusion

We hope this information has been useful and while we know it’s not the best scenario we feel it is the right one. We would like to thank everyone for their support and more importantly thank all of those that are on the frontlines of this terrible virus. So many of our visitors work in healthcare, essential services or are seniors. You are all in our hearts and prayers.

Best wishes,
~ Your friends @LPF
