We are now open daily 10am - 4pm. Rain or shine. Please note some attractions or activities may not be available during inclement weather. Our bloom season is June and July. Follow us on Facebook for updates.
Things to Do
Say Hi to Flora. Flora is our farm and family dog, a very sweet and friendly lavendoodle.
Walk the fields. There's nearly 10,000 lavender plants in 30+ beds. Take your time and enjoy your walk.
Take a Ride on the LPF Express. Learn about our farm and take purple train ride around the property. Please see schedule below.
Visit the bees. On sunny days our honeybees are busy as, well, you know... and you can see them working around the hives.
Shop the Shoppe. We've got live plants, and a bevy of other lavender goodness just waiting for you in our farm shoppe.
Check out the chickens. Our "Broadway Chicks" are always excited to make new friends. However please don't feed or try to pet them.
Stroll around the pond. If you're up for a nice walk, there's a path around the big pond in back. Enjoy.
See our covered bridge. We've got an Arnold M. Graton authentic covered bridge at our farm. See the work of a master bridge wright.
Relax and enjoy. There's quite a few places to just sit and be. Find yourself a quiet spot and do just that.
Take a peek at our still. We've got a really cool copper alembic still for distilling our lavender hydrosol and essential oil.
See the SmartFlower. Our farm is solar powered. in 2017 we became only the second site in the USA and first in CT to put in a SmartFlower.
Take lots of pictures. There's lots of great photo opportunities. Be sure to tag us on Facebook and Instagram #lavenderpondfarm so we can see your shots.

Tours are available Wednesday - Sunday and booked in the shoppe on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $25 per family. And one family per train.
Please note, we are unable to offer group tours at this time. Train tours are restricted to your immediate family members only. The train will be sanitized after each ride however we cannot guarantee a germ free environment.
Private Group Tours

Seniors, garden clubs, book clubs, and corporate retreats - you are very welcome to book a private weekday (only) tour of Lavender Pond Farm. We’ll roll out the red carpet for you (not really) and your group will receive the same educational, possibly entertaining overview of our farm and finish with a train ride around the property. Even better, your group will receive 10% off same-day purchases in our farm shoppe. Cost for a private group tour is $80 for up to 14 persons.
As it currently stands we will not have a lunch option for private tours. If you'd like a great lunch, consider visiting the Copper Skillet (awesome local diner) or bringing in sandwiches from The Cooking Company.
