If you’re local to Killingworth, then you probably remember the Holly Loft on Route 81. Long before Francesco brought delicious, authentic Italian cuisine to Killingworth, the building that La Foresta now calls home was one of the best Christmas gift shops around. The Holly Loft was the go to spot for holiday shopping and as long time residents of Killingworth, we have many fond memories of the Holly Loft and what it meant to our great town.

At Lavender Pond Farm we love the holiday season and work very hard to transform our shoppe into a winter wonderland for our farm visitors to enjoy. We’ve stocked our gift shoppe with a wide variety of lavender themed gifts and our elves have been hard at work stringing up the lights, decorating the shoppe and spreading good cheer. This year, we’re drinking the lavender cider and adding a brand new Christmas line at Lavender Pond Farm.

We’re pleased to announce we are now an approved distributor of the Old World Christmas line of Christmas ornaments. Old World Christmas is the premier brand of Christmas ornaments in the country. The founders, Tim and Beth Merck, a couple who shared a special love for Christmas, are credited with revitalizing the art of mouth-blown fine glass ornaments. Each figural glass ornament produced by Old World Christmas is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.
