Lavender Pond Farm, New England’s largest lavender farm, has announced the launch of a small batch, gourmet lemonade infused with farm fresh lavender and sweetened with organic raw honey.

“We’ve been serving our Lavender Lemonade to visitors to our farm since we opened in 2015,” said Denise Salafia, who along with her husband Chris is the owner and caretaker of Lavender Pond Farm. “We are incredibly excited to now be able to bring this light and refreshing lemonade to those who aren’t local to our lavender farm.”

Brewed and bottled locally in small batches, Lavender Lemonade is steeped with culinary lavender and then blended with raw organic honey. "Uniting the lavender and honey is a magical combination," continued Salafia. "The lavender has such a soft palate while the honey is not only a healthier alternative to sugar, but has a subtle sweetness. The result is a much lighter, revitalizing drink than traditional lemonades."

Lavender Lemonade retails for $4 per 16 ounce bottle and is currently available at Lavender Pond Farm’s Killingworth, Connecticut location and online at www.lavenderpondfarm.com. The farm is also evaluating a choice group of partners to facilitate distribution at select locations throughout New England.

“Our farm was born with the simple purpose of doing our small part to help make the world a more beautiful place,” said Salafia. We hope that by making our Lavender Lemonade available in a bottle we can bring a bit of Lavender Pond Farm goodness to others.”
